The group was started for the Daventry area in 1994 and led by Jeannie Eastwood (who was also county chairman) until her untimely death in 2005. It has moved three times from its original riding stables at Hillcrest Farm, Priors Marston and has been based for the past three years at Woodbine Stables, Grandborough Fields on the Northamptonshire/Warwickshire border. The group currently hires six horses/ponies for two sessions a week, helping adult riders and has four instructors and around twenty plus volunteers.
