Kesteven Rideability celebrates their milestone of 30 years at 30th Anniversary Ceilidh!

"Kesteven Rideability’s 30th Anniversary Ceilidh got off to a ‘craic- ing’ start on Saturday night. The Sizzling Sausage van fortified everyone by providing burgers and buns - I heard tell one of our volunteers managed to work their way through three - no names no pack drill! I know working with horses burns calories but The Higgledy Piggledy Band provided the music and called the dances all evening. It was fast and furious but everyone had a wonderful time and despite the helter skeltering and whirling around we suffered no injuries. Tickets had sold well but we still had people turning up on the door and with lots of raffle tickets sold we made a very respectable amount to bolster our funds

"I must also go to all our volunteers for helping to set up and take down as well as clearing up. We couldn’t do everything we do without you." - Kesteven Rideability Trustee, Sue Ashton

Karen Thompson who successfully founded Kesteven Rideability since 1998 is one of her proudest achievements which Karen can be proud of how it has been developed over past 30 years and has supported many disabled people to find out how wonderful it is to connect with real horses - We could not be proud of the success in her thirty year venture experience.
