Regional Countryside Challenge Qualifiers Success
Finally the day arrived for our last and final Regional Qualifiers - Countryside Challenge Qualifiers and Arts & Crafts Qualifiers held at Scropton RDA Centre. The dazzling sunshine saw riders from nine groups take part: Belvoir Vale, Dovecote Farm, Helen Atkins, Kimberley House, Nottingham, Retford & District, South Notts, Wenlo and hosting group, Scropton.
We were delighted that Nicky Webber & Susan Lang could join us to judge the Countryside Challenge classes. Our riders impressed them with their riding skills and everyone’s hard work & preparation paid off with the marks received. Nicky said "Had a fantastic day judging at this year's countryside challenge qualifiers, the horse and riders were beautifully turned out. All riders tried so hard - it was a pleasure to be part of the day. Well done everyone and good luck to those who qualified for the Nationals."
Huge congratulations to the Countryside Challenge riders who just have secured their National Championship qualifications, joining our Dressage & Showjumping competitors representing North Midlands Region in July. We’re all set for the North Midlands team to have a great few days of competition at the Championships in July.
Chris McGarity was delighted to judge the regional rounds of our Arts & Crafts qualifiers. It was a difficult role to select the class winners as there were some outstanding entries. Our Arts & Crafts class winners will be heading to Hartpury for RDA National Championship Arts & Crafts judging.
